The concept for the NZ Wedding Planner was born in April 2000 when Kelvin Cox (professionally known as KC) decided there was no real wedding portal for Brides and Grooms who wanted to marry in New Zealand. Brides and Grooms that wanted free wedding information had to either search a variety of American web sites that specialized in American weddings or spend a lot of precious time researching books and other printed media.
The NZ Wedding Planner launched on 14th February 2001, and since that time the has maintained the promise to provide free information for brides with the intent of marriage in New Zealand.
We support the concept that every couple planning to marry should have the opportunity to be able to plan their special day from the comfort of there home, and be able to enjoy the services that professionals in the wedding industry can provide.
In our monthly update of 'Bridal Tips', we research and bring you the latest information from experts around the world. These helpful articles are packed with fresh ideas and inspiration to help with the organization and decision making process for your wedding. This is one of the ways that the NZ Wedding Planner is dedicated to providing free information and helping you make your dreams come true on your big day.
In 2005 the NZ Wedding Planner has changed its administration team that is now lead by Michael Stump. This changes was made with the aim to develop the site further, with a new program in mind to take the NZ Wedding Planner to the next level. This will add more futures and tolls to get more information with easy handling to make things even more interesting for our brides.
The NZ Wedding Planner is based in sunny Nelson, that’s also a beautiful place for a wedding. The team consists of Web Maintainer, Designer and Programmer with years of experience.
